Wirksworth Wander (Please note update below!!!)

Join us on this walk from the National Stone Centre near Wirksworth. The route takes us to Middleton by Wirksworth, Middleton Top, and then to Wirksworth. The route includes The Church Quarter and an area known locally as the Puzzle Gardens.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: This walk  is still scheduled to take place at this time of editing (Tuesday 11/11/26). However, high temperatures are forecast so the walk will be amended and reduced to a length of about 4 miles. The aim is to complete the walk before 1.30pm. The Met Office currently (11/11/26, 11:56) forecasts  temperatures to rise from 22C at 10:00 to 28 by 13:00.  It is therefore highly recommended you have sun screen, a sun hat, and plentiful means of hydration.
