Location: There is a fee for the car park, pay by card only. If the parking machine is not working please pay (5 pounds per day) in the NSC shop. Give your registration. You can also pay via the QR code displayed in the car park. Parking is monitored. Free parking usually available on Old Porter Lane, 3/8 of a mile away along the trail.

The walk is via Middleton Moor and Griffe Grange. We return via the High Peak Trail.

There are some short sections which might be muddy. There are some ascents which will be taken at a suitably gentle pace. There are only a few stiles, and sheep but no cattle expected.
