This is a fascinating walk which takes us from the edge of Wirksworth, close to the national Stone Centre through Cromford, with its immensely rich history and role in starting the industrial revolution, and then onto Bonsall, famous for its leadmining and frame-knitting history. Bonsall is also known for its annual "World Championship Hen Race" and for rather extraordinary carnival traditions!
