Location: Meet and park in the Woodcroft car park, near the Longshaw Visitors' Centre. Fee payable, free to NT members. ANPR pay at machine or use JustPark app, location number 80618. Free roadside parking on the Hathersage Road just past the Fox House Inn on way to Sheffield.

From the Woodcroft car park at Longshaw we wend way through the estate and then onto White Edge, which is part of the 'Eastern Grit' series of Edges. From there we should hopefully have great views across Big Moor, and may even catch a glimpse of the Red Deer the location is famed for.
