Location: Meet and park on Butts Road, Monsal Head. Parking also available in DDDC car park which is behind the Monsal Head hotel and other buildings. This is a PandD car park.

This walk is definitely not to be missed. From Monsal Head, with its spectacular views of the Wye valley as the river wends its way towards Creswell, we walk up onto Longstone Moor. The high point on the Moor is an Ethel, and is 395 metres above sea level. The summit is notable for its Bronze Age burial mound. In good weather the views northwards towards the High Peak are outstanding.
