Starting at Dimmingsdale Car Park this walk takes in Ousal Dale, Old Furnace, Dimmingsdale Wood and Churnett Valley. There is plenty of shade should the weather be hot.

Dimmingsdale is a haven for wildlife. Its lakes, streams and rivers combine with a mix of broadleaf and spectacular Scots pines.
This is a figure of eight walk, passing back through the car park after 3.7 miles, if a shorter walk is preferred.
