Starting at Carsington Water Sheepwash Car Park, this circular walk takes us via Stainsborough Quarry, Wirksworth, the Star Disc, Middle Peak Quarry and Hopton.

The Star disc is a 21st century stone circle by Aiden Shingler. It is engraved with a star chart depicting the northern hemisphere's night sky.
