Location: The council have advise locals that the bridge at Brough B6049 Stretfield Road will be closed from the 17th June for 12 weeks. Anybody heading to Bamford from the A623 sparrow pit to Calver road will have to follow local signed diversions. Change of start point and parking for this walk also due to ongoing traffic lights outside the garden centre it will be best to park on Mytham bridge, this will also be the start point.

Via Offerton Hall, Offerton Moor, Abney Clough, Highlow Hall, Derwent stepping stones, Hathersage and Bamford. Alternative route available if stepping stones are under water which would add 1 mile to the distance.
