Explore with us the intriguing landscape between Ashover and Wingerworth! Our route includes an ascent to the Fabrick, or Ashover Rock as it is also known which at 299 metres above sea level affords great views in good weather. We wend our way via Alton and Bole Hill to the Great Pond of Stubbing, the noteworthy dam of which was built around 1700. We then return via the Press Reservoirs and Northedge.
